Download Center Help
To
download a PDF manual or Quick Reference guide, click on the link for the
desired software title. If you have a PDF reader installed, your document
will load in your browser window. You will have the option to view, save or
print the document from that window. To save the document, click the gray
icon of the floppy disk at the top of the page. Choose either your desktop
or your My Documents folder to save it in so you can find it later.
If you
do not have a reader installed, you may see a dialog box prompting you to
either open, save or cancel. Click Save and choose your desktop or your My
Documents folder as the saving destination. You will need a PDF reader to
view and print these documents. You can download a free viewer
here.
Now
locate the practice files (if any) that are associated with the software
title you have chosen. Be sure the versions match. For instance, if you
downloaded the MS Word 2003 manual, you would download the 2003 practice
files for MS Word.
The
practice files will download in a ZIP file.
When you click the link, a
dialog box will prompt you to open, save or cancel. Click Save and choose
your desktop or your My Documents folder as the saving destination.
When you have finished downloading the practice files, they will have to be
decompressed before you can use them. Locate the icon for the files. Double
click the icon. They will expand into a new folder. The folder will contain
a collection of files and images for use with the lessons in your manual.
Make a note of where these files are so you can find them later.
