Display and Safety Checklist- Region Science and Engineering Fair Participants Must Comply with the State Display and Safety Regulations The link is here

 

Abstract- Region Science and Engineering Fair Participant's Must Use the ISEF Abstract form. Teams, please use this form. This must be displayed in the left hand corner on the board or in a non plastic frame in an upright position.


Photos- Credit lines are required for photos that appear on display board. If subject is person other than participant, human subject forms( Form #4) must be completed for that subject. See page 5 of rules and regulation booklet.

Bibliography- APA Style recommended. Five references required.

Feb. 22 - Student set-up and check-in  - 3-8PM- Students must be checked in on this date. INFO

Feb. 23- Judging                                  - 8AM-3PM- Students Only. Students will be released at 3PM. INFO

Feb. 24 -Awards-                                  - 6PM-8PM- GHS Auditorium INFO

 

·        JASON Colloquium Application Forms- Due March 16, 2005

 

·        State Science and Engineering Fair- April 6-8, 2004 Orlando, FL.

·        INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair- May 8-14 Phoenix, AZ

Important Changes in 2004-05 Science and Engineering Fair

 

There have been some major changes so please look at the rules and regulations book instructions carefully. Please refer to

page 3 of ISEF Rules and Regulations Booklet.

 

The Highlights:

·        No Gerontology category

·        Earth and Space has been divided into Earth Science AND Space Science

·        If a tissue is obtained from an animal that was euthanized solely for student’s project, the study must be considered a vertebrate animal project and must adhere to the vertebrate animal rules.     

·        Longitudinal studies are permitted under certain conditions (page 9 of INTEL rules and Regulations booklet)

·        Adherence to ethics statement was added to the requirements for all projects.

·        New Forms

  • Abstract- Student abstracts for RSEF and FSSEF must be on the approved ISEF Abstract form. The official abstract with SRC approval must appear on the display board or in a vertical position on the project. Official ISEF Abstract form can be found at ISEF Abstract Form
