1) ATOD - Alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs 2) Protective Factors - Environmental factors that facilitate the development of youth who do not get involved in the life- compromising problems of school failure, drugs, etc. 3) Risk Factors - Attributes or environmental characteristics that have been shown to be statistically associated with an increased risk for alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. 4) Performance Enhancing Drugs – drugs and dietary supplements used to boost athletic performance, ward off fatigue, and enhance physical appearance. These substances are dangerous, damaging and potentially deadly. |
